Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Version 2

This is the website of Daksh Analytics and its media arm, Daksh Media. Reading the site needs no account and collects no personal data. If you choose to create an account for personal features, we keep only what this page lists, use it only for those features, and you can delete it at any time.

This site is operated by Daksh Analytics. Its media arm, Daksh Media, publishes the videos and runs the channels. This notice is written for India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.

What this site collects

Browsing collects nothing from you: no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no forms. The pages are plain files your browser downloads. Personal data is collected only if you create a free account (needed for the Live analytics page and the personal features), and only the items listed in the next section.

Free account: what we keep

An account opens the Live analytics page and personal features: a saved list of the levels you watch, your alert preferences and your saved calculator inputs. To provide them we keep:

DataWhyKept until
Email addressTo sign you in and send your sign-in links (and alerts, only if you switch them on)You delete your account
Google account identifier (only if you use “Continue with Google”)To recognise your Google sign-in. We ask Google only for your email and this identifier, never your password, name, photo or contactsYou delete your account
Your saved settings (watchlist, alert preferences, calculator inputs)To show them to you on any deviceYou delete them or your account
Consent record (date, notice version, your 18+ confirmation)To show that you agreed, as the law requiresOne year after your account is deleted
Sign-in and deletion events (time only)Security, and the one-year log the DPDP Rules requireOne year

We do not collect your phone number, name, address, PAN, Aadhaar, broker or trading-account details, or any payment information. We never ask for passwords: you sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email.

Why we use it

Only to run the features you chose: signing you in, showing you the Live analytics page, saving and showing your settings, and sending the alerts you switch on. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never send marketing email unless you separately opt in. Nothing on this site is investment advice; Daksh Analytics is not registered with SEBI.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies while you browse. If you sign in, we set one strictly necessary cookie, daksh_session, that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds a random code, not your personal data, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and is removed when you sign out. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Sign-in links work once and expire after 15 minutes. Your account and settings are kept until you delete them, which takes effect immediately from your account page. If you do not sign in for 12 months, we delete the account automatically, and we email you at least 48 hours before we do. The consent record and the sign-in log are kept for one year and then deleted.

Who processes it, and where

Three service providers process account data for us, only to run the features above:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and the account database (privacy policy).
  • Google confirms your identity, only if you choose “Continue with Google” (privacy policy).
  • Resend delivers sign-in and alert emails (privacy policy).

These providers may store or process data outside India. Such transfers are allowed under section 16 of the DPDP Act unless the Government restricts a country; we will follow any such restriction.

Our web host

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may record standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and to keep the service running. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy. Daksh Analytics does not receive or use it.

Our use of YouTube API Services

Daksh Analytics uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to, and read performance statistics of, its own YouTube channel (@dakshanalytics). We do not access, collect or store the YouTube data of any other person or channel through these services.

  • YouTube's terms apply to our use of the service: YouTube Terms of Service.
  • Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Access granted to our application can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
  • Authorization tokens and statistics obtained through YouTube API Services are kept on our own systems, used only to manage and measure our own channel, never sold or shared, and deleted within 30 days once access is revoked or we stop using the service.

The WhatsApp Channel

Daksh Analytics posts its daily videos to a WhatsApp Channel from a number used only for Daksh. The posting is automated. The channel only publishes: it never sends messages to individuals, groups or broadcast lists.

WhatsApp keeps your phone number hidden from channel admins and from other followers, so we cannot see who follows the channel, and other people cannot see which channels you follow. We see only totals, such as the number of followers and reactions. Channel posts are public. WhatsApp (Meta) handles everything you do in the channel under the WhatsApp Channels privacy policy, and keeps channel updates on its servers for up to 30 days.

If you message the Daksh number directly, we use your number and message only to reply, and we delete them on request.

Adults only

This site and its accounts are for adults aged 18 and over who are interested in the stock market. Creating an account requires confirming that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone under 18; if we learn that an account belongs to a child, we delete it.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can, at any time:

  • See a summary of the data we hold about you, and download it, from your account page.
  • Correct it, for example by changing your settings or email.
  • Erase it and withdraw consent by deleting your account. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act.
  • Complain to our grievance officer and, if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security and breaches

Data travels only over encrypted connections. Sign-in links and session codes are stored only as one-way hashes, so even we cannot read them, and access to the database is limited to the people who run the site. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform the affected users and the Data Protection Board of India without delay, as the DPDP Rules require.

Grievance officer

Pradeep Kumar, Daksh Analytics. Email dakshanalytics.official@gmail.com with “Privacy” in the subject. We acknowledge within 7 days and resolve within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date and version number. If a change affects account data, we will email account holders and ask for consent again where the law requires it.
